Neutral or blind shipping limits selected commercial information shown to a supplier or customer during an agreed delivery process. It can be relevant to resellers arranging direct delivery from a supplier. Availability and the exact document arrangement need confirmation before booking.

Define what should be neutral

Tell your manager whether the concern is supplier branding, a delivery note, commercial pricing or another item. “Hide the sender” is too broad to establish which documents and labels should be used.

The carrier and any customs representative still need truthful operational information about the goods and the actual collection and delivery locations. Neutral presentation must not create false transport or customs records.

Questions to settle

  • Which commercial documents should accompany the shipment?
  • Who supplies the approved delivery note?
  • Which packaging or labels display the supplier’s name?
  • Are invoices to be kept outside the consignee-facing document set?
  • Does the route require customs documents that disclose additional information?

Prepare before collection

Review packaging, product labels and documents together. Replacing a delivery note will not conceal a supplier’s logo printed on every carton. If the requirement is essential, explain it before the goods are packed and the vehicle is assigned.

What can be promised?

Cargo Euro Hub assesses whether the requested arrangement can be supported for the particular route and carrier. Do not assume a dedicated platform feature, automatic document substitution or identical pricing without confirmation.

If customs are involved, commercial confidentiality and mandatory declarations must be considered separately. See delivery notes and customs documents for the different purposes of those records.
