Send address-change requests to your Cargo Euro Hub manager as soon as the need is known. Quote the booking or tracking number and provide the complete replacement address. The change must be reviewed and confirmed before the shipment follows a new instruction.

Supply a complete replacement record

  • Company or receiving-site name.
  • Street, building or gate, postcode, city and country.
  • Contact person and telephone number.
  • Opening hours and any appointment requirement.
  • Loading equipment and vehicle-access restrictions.

Identify whether you are changing collection, delivery or both. A postcode correction, a different warehouse in the same city and a new country are materially different requests.

Why it can affect more than the address label

A new location may require another vehicle route, a different terminal or a new customs arrangement. Delivery to a site without a forklift may need equipment that was not included originally.

If the goods are already moving, the carrier’s ability to redirect them depends on their current position and the service. Additional costs or revised dates can apply under the agreed conditions.

After the change is accepted

Check which documents and labels need replacing. Tell the shipper and consignee the confirmed instructions so nobody keeps using the old address. Retain the written amendment with the original booking.

If you are receiving goods booked by another business, coordinate the change through that booking party. Do not assume an informal instruction to the driver is sufficient to amend the transport contract.
