Decide what is most important
Tell the manager whether you prioritise cost, a deadline, exclusive use or reduced handling. These priorities can lead to different recommendations for the same cargo.
For example, routine stock replenishment may fit a shared schedule. An urgent replacement part may justify a dedicated vehicle. An island delivery needs its road and sea connections considered together.
Check physical suitability
The goods must fit the equipment and be safe to handle at both ends. Finished dimensions, gross weight and access details are more useful than a product name alone. Declare non-stackability and any restrictions on lifting or transfers.
Confirm the whole service
Review collection and delivery conditions, equipment, appointments, customs scope where relevant and the stated payment terms. Sea freight availability does not imply worldwide route coverage: the enquiry must still fall within Cargo Euro Hub’s confirmed service area.
