If your freight has not been collected, first check the confirmed collection date and window. A requested date in the initial enquiry may differ from the final arrangement. Contact your Cargo Euro Hub manager when the agreed window has passed or a problem is already apparent.
Check these points first
- Was the booking accepted and were the agreed payment conditions completed?
- Is the collection address identical to the confirmed instructions?
- Are the goods fully packed, labelled and ready?
- Can the site contact answer calls?
- Is the loading area accessible with the agreed equipment available?
- Does tracking show an attempted collection or other relevant event?
These checks help locate the problem without assuming that the delay has a particular cause.
Send an actionable update request
Provide the shipment reference, site name, confirmed window and the time until which loading remains possible. Tell the manager about any closing time or delivery deadline now at risk.
For example: “Collection reference X, warehouse open until 16:30, pallet ready at Gate 2, no vehicle yet.” That is easier to investigate than several separate messages asking for an arrival time.
Possible next arrangements
The manager can check the carrier’s position and discuss a revised collection if needed. Do not assume automatic next-day priority, a free replacement vehicle or an unchanged delivery date unless confirmed.
Keep the goods ready while an updated plan is agreed. If the delay means the destination can no longer receive on the original day, tell us immediately so both ends can be considered together.
