Cargo Euro Hub works with licensed direct carriers that maintain freight liability insurance. The carrier insurance limit described for our arrangements is up to €100,000, subject to the applicable policy and carriage conditions. This figure must not be interpreted as an automatic €100,000 payment or unconditional full-value protection for every shipment.

What the insurance limit means

A policy limit concerns the insurer’s maximum exposure within the policy’s scope. Whether a particular loss is covered also depends on the insured liability, cause of loss, exclusions, territorial and goods restrictions, and any applicable limits or excess.

The compensation available for a shipment may therefore differ from both the invoice value of the goods and the headline policy limit.

Check protection before collection

Provide the goods description, value and any unusual risk, including fragile, used or high-value equipment. Ask the manager to clarify the cover applying to the proposed carrier and whether separate cargo insurance can be arranged if needed. Availability and terms require confirmation before transport.

Keep practical evidence

Take photographs of the packed shipment, retain value documents and ask the consignee to inspect the delivery. Suitable packaging and a clear record help establish what happened if damage or loss is reported.

For a shipment already affected, contact your Cargo Euro Hub manager promptly with the booking reference. Reporting a claim starts an assessment; it does not itself confirm liability or an insurance payment.
