The validity of a Cargo Euro Hub quotation is agreed for the individual offer. Check the stated expiry, proposed transport date and any availability conditions. Do not assume that a quotation remains open for a standard number of days unless that period is written in the offer.

Validity and availability are related

An offer may refer to a particular collection date or vehicle arrangement. Moving the shipment to another date can require a fresh capacity check even if little time has passed since the quotation was issued.

Reconfirm when something changes

  • The collection date or required delivery window moves.
  • The number, weight or dimensions of units change.
  • The address, access or unloading requirement changes.
  • Customs readiness affects the planned departure.
  • The offer’s stated validity period has expired.

How to accept efficiently

Reply through the agreed channel with the quotation reference and confirmation that the shipment details remain correct. The manager can then confirm the next steps and issue the invoice. Collection follows the agreed payment and operating arrangements.

For recurring freight, keep a standard shipment profile but request the commercial terms applicable to each booking or any separately agreed ongoing arrangement. A historical invoice documents a completed service; it does not by itself establish the price for future transport.

If the offer does not make its validity clear, ask the manager to confirm it in writing before arranging warehouse resources.
