Distance is only part of a freight calculation. Exact collection and delivery postcodes help establish local service availability, vehicle access, network connections and any border or island requirements. A country-to-country description is too broad for a reliable quotation.
Why the full address matters
The final part of the journey may involve an industrial estate, a city centre, a restricted road or a location reached by ferry. These are different operating conditions even when two addresses are close on a map.
Provide both business addresses, postcodes and countries. Identify the actual loading entrance if it differs from the registered office or visitor entrance.

If either address changes after quotation, send the new postcode and access details to the manager. Even a short relocation can change the local handling or delivery requirement.
