Before the truck arrives

Submit the route, goods description, pallet count, finished dimensions, gross weight and dates. Tell us whether a forklift, dock or tail lift is needed at each address. Once you accept the offer, invoicing and payment follow the terms agreed for the booking.

The shipper should prepare the pallet before the collection window. Protect the goods, secure them to the base and apply any supplied shipment labels. Documents and site references should match the booking.

Collection and transport

The goods are handed over at the agreed loading point. Depending on the service, the pallet may travel through shared freight terminals or on a more direct vehicle arrangement. Its packaging must be suitable for the planned handling.

Keep the shipment reference and use the tracking number to check status. If an event is unclear, the manager can investigate using that reference.

Delivery and checks

The consignee needs to be ready with the agreed unloading equipment and access. Before signing, check the visible condition, package count and labels. Describe visible damage or shortages on the delivery record and notify the relevant contact promptly.
