Our role in the booking

We review your enquiry, obtain a transport option, communicate the quotation and coordinate the accepted booking. The carrier needs accurate instructions about the goods, vehicle access, lifting equipment and site contacts.

For this reason, give changes to your manager rather than assuming that an informal message to a driver updates every part of the transport arrangement.

Why more than one vehicle may be involved

Shared freight can travel through collection and delivery terminals, using separate vehicles for different stages. An island shipment may include a sea connection. A dedicated road option may be planned with fewer transfers, but its handling arrangement should still be confirmed for the route.

The number of vehicles alone does not determine whether a service is suitable. Packaging, scheduling, cargo characteristics and the agreed service matter as well.

Carrier licensing and insurance

We work with licensed carriers that hold insurance policies. The relevant coverage, exclusions and liability conditions must be considered for the particular consignment. A carrier policy limit should not be confused with a promise to reimburse the full value of any goods in all circumstances.

For tracking, use the shipment number supplied for your transport. If the status needs explanation or you need to change instructions, contact your manager with that reference.
