Commercial furniture freight concerns business goods such as retail stock, office fit-out products or hospitality equipment. Cargo Euro Hub does not provide household removals. Describe the commercial shipment and agree the transport and unloading requirements before booking.
Package for freight handling
Protect corners, edges and finished surfaces with suitable materials. Secure drawers, doors and movable components without damaging the finish. Pack detachable fittings in labelled containers connected with the relevant furniture unit.
Glass tops, mirrors and stone surfaces need packaging designed for their particular support and orientation requirements. Soft covers alone do not protect them against structural loads or impact.
Measure the finished units
Give the outer dimensions and gross weight after packaging. Identify units that cannot be stacked, tilted or disassembled. A large lightweight cabinet can need substantial vehicle space even when its weight is modest.
Define the delivery point
Freight delivery does not automatically include carrying furniture upstairs, placing it in rooms, unpacking, assembly or removal of packaging. Explain any requirement beyond the agreed unloading point so its feasibility can be checked separately.
Confirm building access, receiving staff, equipment and any delivery slot. For fit-out projects, ensure the goods can be received even if other contractors are working on site.
Inspect visible condition at handover and retain a package-by-package receiving record for multi-unit orders.
